Frequently Asked Questions

When should I reserve a bounce house?
Our inflatables are reserved on a first-call, first-serve basis. Popular inflatables book up 1-2 months in advance. The earlier you book, the more choices you have to choose from. If you have a date, please reserve early. If bounce houses are still available, we are able to reservations the day before an event.  Please use the “Get a Quote” button or menu tab to use our easy booking system.  You’ll be able to see available dates/time slots for our different options.

Is Tri-County Bounce & Party Rentals insured?
We are insured, for your safety and ours!  With years of safely providing party entertainment in the area, we are pros at keeping you safe and secure!

Do inflatables need to be set up on grass?
The safest surface is a level grassy area. However, we can set up on concrete, asphalt, or event indoors. If we will be setting up on a surface other than grass please notify us when ordering which surface we will be setting up on and we will make sure we utilize the proper anchors for your event. Some of the larger units may only be set up on grass.

What kind of power is needed for the inflatable?
Our inflatables require a standard 110v household outlet. We will supply the  cord, and we ask that nothing else be plugged into the outlet we are utilizing.  Placement of the bounce house should be no more than 50 feet from that outlet.  In the event that your party takes place at a location without accessible power, we can provide a generator for a reasonable fee.

What kind of water connection is needed for the water slide inflatables?
Our inflatables require a standard 3/4″ garden hose connection.  The hose connection (or your hose end) must be within 50 feet of the location of the inflatable’s setup area.

What happens if I have an underground sprinkler system or wires?
You must contact SC-811 prior to your event rental to mark any underground utilities on your property, and if you have a underground sprinkler system (or other pipes) you must communicated this at the time of reservation. Tri-County Bounce and Party Rentals will bear no responsibility for unmarked utilities, pipes or sprinkler systems.

How long is a rental for?
Generally Saturday rentals at set up Saturday morning (or occasionally even the night before) and taken down on Sunday. Sunday rentals are typically set up Sunday morning and taken down Sunday evening. There are occassional exceptions to this including holidays, inclement weather etc. and this will be discussed at set up.  You may also choose to extend your fun by adding an extra day (based on availability) for a discounted rate!

How does payment work?
A valid credit card or debit card is required to guarantee and pay for your reservation. All rentals will required a deposit.

How much space do we need for the rental?
For inflatables, we need at a minimum, five extra feet on each side of the unit to secure it. There should be a clearance of at least 20 feet high, free of wires or branches for all inflatables except for slides. Slides need an additional 5 feet of clearance above the measurements listed for that specific slide.

For party tents, we will need an additional ten feet of space added to the dimensions for staking purposes. (For example, a 20′ x 20′ tent needs a clear area of 30′ x 30′.)  This area must be flat with no obstacles in the way such as bushes, fences, rocks, trees, swing sets, pools, patios, decks or any other objects. We will need a height clearance of approximately 18 feet. If the dimensions that you come up do not meet our requirements then we will be unable to install your tent. If your area is close to these requirements or if you have a concern then please email us a couple of digital photos of the area along with the measurements to tricountybounce@gmail.com .  We will respond as soon as possible and discuss your needs.

Tents can ONLY be set up on grass surfaces for safety purposes.  Please locate all underground utilities that could be located in or around the specific set up area. Utilities can include but not limited to water, gas, electric, telephone, sewage etc. Any underground utilities must be marked. If you have any doubts or questions about any underground utilities contact “Call Before You Dig” by dialing 811.

Are your units clean?
We clean and sanitize the units every time they are set up. This does take us a while but it keeps them free of germs and looking new. Please be patient with us!

Should we tip the staff setting up the inflatables?
Your delivery drivers are responsible for the physical labor of setting up the jump house and cleaning it, as well as reviewing rules and safety with you. If you feel the drivers did an excellent job of preparing the jump house for your event, a small tip is appreciated by them but never expected.
